The client required a way to approach users on the go, opening options to browse a full product catalogue and build collections of products from their store. The information needed to be a streamlined version of what was available on the desktop website.

There were many restrictions blocking the design decisions from the information that was available from the API, this made issues with the user journey and UX. A purely native style was created for both the Android and iOS applications and design alterations were made to ensure the experience felt truly native for each platform. The design also had to work across mobile and tablet devices where some improvements had been made to the tablet visual design to make better usage of the screen estate available.

Low-fidelity prototypes were created and presented to the client through UXPin, after approval of the wireframes high-fidelity prototypes were made to be approved. The client was supplied with JPGs, an interactive prototype and designs in Zeplin for the developers.

I worked very closely with the client to collaboratively turn his idea into an interactive prototype that can be shared with investors. The design needed to be fun and attractive, a dark theme was chosen to help bring focus onto the video content.

The project started with very low-fidelity sketched wireframes to outline the basic user journey through the application. Once the user journey was agreed I created a high-fidelity wireframe prototype to show positioning of elements across all the screens, during this stage we discovered there were more screens required to improve the user experience.

Once the full design was created it was turned into an interactive prototype that was shared with investors and potential user groups, this allowed us to create iterations based on user feedback and create the best possible outcome.

The client required an update on their dated, non-responsive website to help bring in new users and to improve the SEO across the site. The first phase of the project was to create low-fidelity wireframes to note any UX improvements that could be made. After all improvements were agreed a high-fidelity visual design was created to update the branding and style.

The site needed to be designed to allow for future improvements and additions to be added without cluttering the site. HotJar was installed on the first instalment to monitor usage on the improved areas to continue with a user research led approach to create the final design.
